Vallée de la Sionne

Our proposed model is used to model a snow avalanche at Vallée de la Sionne (Commune d’Arbaz, Valais). The below animation shows the material (snow) being released on the real terrain from Vallée de la Sionne. The snow is colored according to its speed, see below colorbar.
